We start our walk with God in the power of the Spirit to convict us of our sins. We then experience his power in our prayers. But, we are often tempted to a kind of self-help Christianity. It turns us inward, constantly thinking about our own standing with God. We are living in our own strength and often fail. What we lose is vitality. What God loses is "pocket missionaries" who will go everywhere telling people about him and forgiving their sins. We must choose to hold our course.
